We're pleased to welcome Andy Kinmonth as a Transcend Associate
Andy Kinmonth, a retired industry executive, spent thirty years in the global petrochemical business. He worked for Shell in commercial and executive roles, with his final role as President of Shell Chemicals (Canada). Throughout his career Andy demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and a caring voice of reason. In 2005, his leadership was acknowledged with the awarding of the Centennial Medal by the Alberta government for contributions to Industry development in the province, and in 2006, he was honoured with the Chairman’s award from Canadian Chemical Producers’ Association.
In 2010, Andy discovered executive coaching and entered a new stage of growth and opportunity. He graduated from the Demers Group Core Alignment Coaching program in April 2011 as a Certified Professional Coach. Andy is now focusing on leveraging his leadership experience and people skills in the area of executive coaching.
Since retiring in 2006, Andy has also been consulting, volunteering, and enjoying a delightful increase in leisure and travel. He participates with the Calgary United Way Campaign Cabinet as a Co-Chair of the Growth Division, and works on a team focused on Prospecting. Andy has also done annual volunteer fundraising for the Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta.
Andy has remained connected to the petrochemical industry both as a consultant to the Alberta government as an industry advisor, supporting their Value Add strategy, and as a member of the Steering Team for the CERI annual International Petrochemical Conference in Kananaskis.
